Have you ever heard of a “writer’s block”? It’s a condition in which the author loses the ability to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. Basically, I was dead lazy.
It’s been almost 6 months since my “Great Himalayan Expedition” (that’s what I like to call it) and I haven’t written a single page. Mostly because all the notes I made throughout the journey was lost when I reset my phone. So much for cloud storage promises.
And then there was the sheer magnitude of experiences to describe that gave me cold feet. How could I ever do justice to something that just cannot be explained using mere words!
I’ve decided that I cannot put this off much longer, as the next Himalayan trip (Great Himalayan Expedition #2) is fast approaching. So, here it is, a tiny attempt by an amateur writer to describe the highest mountain range in the world, a kingdom of myths and legends of yore, a mystic realm whose parts still remaining unexplored 200,000 years into humanity, the mighty Himalayas…
